Mark Silver Travels

Hello,

My name is Mark Silver. I am a 67 year old (in 2026), mostly deaf, not-retired but not fully working Electrical Engineer.

In late 2025 I decided that I needed to change my life and do the things that I really was excited about. So, I bought a new Suzuki DR650 motorcycle, some luggage, made a few modifications, then on October 24, 2025 I headed south.

I figured I could get to Ushuaia in 6 weeks and ship my bike home to get back to work. Five months later, on March 4, 2026, I reached Ushuaia and turned around and headed back north. Somehow the 15,780 KM trip became a 28,200 KM exploration.
